1st Month of working life!

Yo pple!!!
Been back for at least a month already…. The first thought that came to my mind when I stepped into Singapore was that I am going to die of the heat! haha… It is so humid that I felt that I had slight trouble breathing. Hhahah… However, I gotten use to it within a week…. and it felt as if I never ever went to Melbourne at all…. Hahha….
Regretfully speaking, I am “as a matter of fact” envious of myself when I was back in Aussie, having all the time to myself and slacking at home ( dun remind me of the time when I had to slog to finish up my thesis). But I am still very glad to be back, to be near my family and friends…. getting pampered by my parents in small little ways. Meeting up with friends for gatherings and “gossip sessions”…. Hhaha….
Basically, I am still considered to be enjoying myself at work, i hope. Ever though I feel overwhelmed with things at times. So many medical stuff to know…. What patients are suitable for rehabilitation, what patients should not be “touched” at all due to medication or procedures… Haiz… have to quickly learn and know them by hard soon!!!!
The best part about working, as agreed by most, is getting paid!!! hahhaha…. think of the things you can do with that money! haha. Just thinking about it makes you happy. Secondly, I really love building rapport and talking to the patients. Feels extra satisfying when I manage to provide a very “occupational therapy” suggestion or intervention to the patient. hahhaha….. Makes me feel that I am really doing my job the right way. hahha. (I sincerely believe so.)
Anyway, this week is a hyper busy week….. with events organised by the occupational therapists (OTs) from my department…. my dad’s birthday, which is tml…. working full day on saturday…. Hopefully I have the energy to last through this entire week! heehee.
Enough for now… need to slp early for the event tml! in addition, suffering from terrible terrible headaches now…… FREAK! i am so going to slp early! Bye bye pple!
PS: MAG!!!! did you mention about coming back Spore???!!!! I am looking forward to that! Really miss talking to you and staying at your place. u always have the capability to make me laugh with your questions. hahha…. SEE ya soon!!!
