Life in Aussie

Well… it’s still the same kind of life, slacking most of the time despite worrying about the progress of writing my thesis. calling back occassionally to talk to relatives and friends. I am kinda getting boring and sian over having to keep repeating the date of when I am going back to Spore to my relatives. Every phone call I make, they will ask the same questions over and over again, nagging the same kind of things… i.e. only 2 months left then coming back liao blah blah…. However, it is still quite enjoyable to talk to them, as they always make me laugh. haha..
Anyway, today as I was walking to school, (trying to do my part as a student to get my schoolwork done, since I cant seem to do much at home). A public bus almost crashed into a lorry carrying lotsa of plastic tubings at the junction… the lorry almost drove into the pedestrians as he tried to avoid hitting the bus, which I think turned at the wrong signal. Bloody impatient drivers everywhere over here. Thank goodness I am still alive. The first thoughttaht came to my mind after realising what had happened was, “I dun wanna die in this foreign country!!!!”. hhahaha…. Life can really be very very fragile. Sigh….
Anyway, my life here evolves around sorting and delivering catalogues (a stupid job that I got) which helps to give me some rountine in life and of course, writing the thesis! I really cant wait to finish writing it. Feels like puking blood thinking of the analysis of data using statistical tests…. It really really sucks. I feel that it is senseless doing for my project, since the response rate was quite low. in addition, I dunno why I am getting more and more irritatable nowadays. May be due to the increasing stress that I am feeling as the date of the honours presentation draws near. may be that I have a housemate who keeps forgetting about things, making me turn into her mum or sth, to keep reminding her things. Haiz… life can be so sian at times. but one has to bear with it.
Oh, let’s talk something more cheery. I went for a homestay at Albury Wodonga (a rural place in Melbourne, close to New South Wales). ! I got to plant trees, carry wombats and kangaroos, pat koala over there. hehhe… I have got really nice hosts over there, and I enjoyed myself thoroughly. REally hope that I will still maintain the friendship with the hosts….
okay, gotta work on my thesis!bye!
